Oak Tree Forge is a traditional small local business manufacturing and fitting quality wrought ironwork. Situated in a farm building that dates back to 1680. Established in 1946 and with 69 years of continuous trading with only three owners over this period and working from the same building. During these years Oak Tree Forge has manufactured countless numbers of gates, railings, handrails, balconies, window boxes and many other items.

Every job gets our full attention to detail and quality whether its large baronial gates like the ones that we were commissioned to do for the Livermead House Hotel in Torquay, or a small pedestrian entry gate for a private house.

Oak Tree Forge combines the use of modern materials and tools with traditional techniques, for example we make our own scrolls for our gates, and the ends of our handrails are forged and turned by us using the forge which now runs on gas.
